LEONARD, Kathryn A. "Kate"
1408 Woodrow Dr. Died Monday, May 19, 2008 from Sanctuary at the Shore Nursing Home in Grand Haven. She was born April 21, 1918 in Kalamazoo to the late Forest and Lena Wesler Wood. Kate was united in marriage to Walter N. Leonard on July 22, 1939 who preceded her in death on October 13, 1994. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis N. Leonard, in 1993; and a brother, Wesley Wood. Surviving Kate are, a son Bill Marcia Leonard of Grand Haven; daughter-in-law, Carol Leonard of Portage; and brother Forest Wood of Florida. She is also survived by grandchildren, Rick Michele, Amy Brett, Julie Monti, Lisa Chris, Matt, and Katie; great grandchildren Rebecca, Erick, Morgan, Megan, Jayden, niece and nephews. There will be no visitation. Private family services will be held at the Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Arrangements are by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
