MARTIN, Kathleen G.
of Parchment, Michigan Passed away Saturday evening, January 26, 2013. Kathi was born February 17, 1954 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Kenneth and Martha Loughead Green. Prior to her retirement she was employed with the Kalamazoo Gazette for 25 years. She was a member of Westwood Church of God and was an excellent artist. Kathi loved spending time with her grandchildren; and enjoyed nature walks and photography. She had a huge heart and always had kind words for everyone that came into contact with her. She will truly be missed by all. Kathi is survived by her daughters, Lisa Matt Bowers, Jennifer DeBoer Lucas VanderLugt; 4 grandchildren, Michael, Alex, Autumn Gayle, and Zachariah; her mother, Martha Green; brother and sister, Kelly Green, Paige Jimmy Key; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 1:00 Friday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Wednesday from 6-8 pm and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the chapel. Memorials may be directed to WoodsEdge Learning Center, 1501 East Milham, Portage, MI 49002.
