COLEMAN, Katherine Ruth
Age 79, of Kalamazoo Kate died Thursday, October 6th, 2011. She was born in Olivet, Michigan, grew up in Hastings, Michigan, and graduated from Hastings High School in 1950. On December 9th, 1955, she married John Coleman. Kate was an avid outdoors person who loved gardening, fishing, hunting and spending time at her cabin in the Upper Peninsula. Preceding her in death was her husband, John Coleman. Surviving are her son, William Coleman; daughter-in-law, Michelle Schwikert Coleman of AuTrain, Michigan; daughter, Christine Wrbelis; son-in-law, Chris Wrbelis of Rockford Michigan; grandchildren, Lindsey and Kelsey Coleman and Jason and Tara Wrbelis; sisters, Maxine Birman and Waneta Leffel and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service held on Thursday, October 13th, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery on Gull Road, followed by a luncheon at Kate's residence.
