Formerly of Portage, MI Justin died Thursday afternoon, June 23, 2011, in Texas Township. He was born November 2, 1987, in Kalamazoo, MI a son of Norman "Chip" and Sandra Wisser Bailey. He lived in Grand Rapids and was a 2006 graduate of Portage Northern High School and a 2010 graduate of Hope College. Within a week after graduation, Justin was hired as a salesperson for a large marketing agency and was awaiting promotion to management. Justin was a gifted soccer player and he was admired by his coaches and teammates for his outstanding soccer skills and fierce competitiveness. They also remember and respect his quiet, unassuming nature. Justin will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Justin was preceded in death by: his maternal grandmother, Marjorie Wisser; an aunt, Marjorie Morren; and an uncle, John Wisser. Surviving are: his parents, Chip and Sandra Bailey; brother, Brian Bailey; special cousin, Dustin Morren; paternal grandfather, Norman Donna Bailey; paternal grandmother, Ola Bailey; maternal grandfather, Duncan Wisser; aunts and uncles, Karen Doug Pollich, Lynne Mark Horning, Jim Marva Wisser, Don Kathleen Wisser, Rose Charles Hampton, Cathy Marvin DeVisser, Patty Jim Joslin, Tom Fran Wisser, Cyndi Rick Hermida, Duncan Wisser, Jr., Steve Julie Wisser, Daniel Wisser and Walter Kelly Wisser; many cousins and very many friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1pm to 8pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Services will be held 1:00 Thursday afternoon at Centerpoint Church, 2345 North 10th St. with Pastor Randy Burnett of 12th Street Baptist Church, officiating. Private inurnment services will be held at a later date. Memorials should be directed to Justin's family for a special memorial fund they are establishing.
