CARLIN, June C.
of Kalamazoo June Christal Carlin was born June 7, 1921, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Marie Rey Lemmer and passed away on May 17, 2011 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. She was a Kalamazoo area resident until 1945 when she married Frederick Carlin and they resided in New York, where she owned and operated Carlin Ceramic Mill in Theresa, NY for 25 years. Frederick preceded her in death in 1979 and she returned to the Kalamazoo area in 2000. June was also preceded in death by two sisters, Cora Morgan and Margaret French, and a brother, Anthony Lemmer. Surviving are nieces and nephews, Kathleen Izenbaard, Christal and Mart Delger, Carol Morgan, Jim Kloosterman and many other special nieces and nephews. A private burial will take place in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Rochester, New York. There will be no visitation or services in Kalamazoo. Memorials in June?s memory may be directed to Park Village Pines. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes.
