BUNNELL, Judy C.
Of Portage, Michigan Passed away Monday evening, July 7, 2008 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 26, 1947 in Niles, the daughter of the late John and Carmen Diveley Derbyshire. Judy was employed by Pfizer Corp. formerly The Upjohn Co. and Pharmacia for over 35 years until her retirement in 2005. She was a member Calvary Bible Church, Michigan Preceptor Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, and the Portage Women's Club, and enjoyed reading and playing cards. On August 23, 1969, she was united in marriage to Terry Bunnell in Niles, who survives. Also surviving are their 2 children, Todd Bunnell of Houston, TX and Troy Bunnell of Portage; 2 sisters, Cindy Derbyshire of Niles and Cheri John Hodges of DeWitt; and 3 nephews, Jeff Miller of South Bend and Clif and Ryan Hodges of DeWitt. Funeral services for Judy will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Calvary Bible Church, 855 S. Drake Road, with Rev. Jeff Whitaker officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Friday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue.
