STERNAMAN Jennings, Mrs. Judith M. Of Kalamazoo Judy passed away Sunday June 24, 2007 at her residence. She was born May 11, 1941 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Dr. J. Maxwell and Dorothy Chase Jennings. She enjoyed working at Rheem Manufacturing and Comstock Public Schools for a brief period and then went on to focus on the most important part of her life, which was her family. Judy loved to garden, camp and travel especially to Walt Disney World and was a member of the Cereal City Campers. On April 15, 1961 she was united in marriage to William Sternaman, Sr. who survives. Also surviving are her children, Lori BobWheelright of Kalamazoo, William Roxanne Sternaman, Jr. of Oak Creek, WI and Karin Sternaman of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Elizabeth Sternaman, Sarah Sternaman, Lorin Wheelright and Douglas Wheelright; a brother, Dr. James Shirley Jennings of South Lyon, MI. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Richard Jennings. The family will receive friends on Friday June 29 from 2-3pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway where a Service to celebrate Judy?s life will be held beginning at 3:00pm with Chaplain Barbara VanEck officiating. A private family interment will be held in Comstock Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date. Memorials in Judy?s memory may be directed to the Borgess VNA Hospice Program.
