Joyce E. (Rost) Peterman

Passed away Friday afternoon, August 11, 2023 at the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Joyce was born June 7, 1932 the daughter of Fred and Bernice Rost. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Patricia Sue Peterman; and a sister, Mary Edison.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Lorie (Mike) LaPine, Jodi Peterman (Trevor); 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and beloved nieces, Kathleen Griffin, Melinda (Tom) Conrad; and nephew, John (Judy) Stiles.

Joyce’s involvement in the management of Biggs-Gilmore Communications was a highlight for her of the 24 years she worked as Human Resources Director of this marketing firm.

Friends may meet the family from 10:00-11:00am Saturday, September 23 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 3926 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009 where a memorial service will be held at 11:00am. A light reception will follow the service and private interment will be held at a later date.
