KIMBERLY, Joyce
Kalamazoo Joyce passed away late Monday evening, December 3, 2007 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born March 26, 1944 in Toledo, OH, one of two children to the late John W. and Ethel LeBeau Walters. Joyce worked as a medical receptionist for 18 years, first at Kalamazoo Pediatrics until their closing, then Rambling Road Pediatrics, and for the last few years at Bright Futures Pediatrics, until her retirement in May 2005. Joyce was dedicated to her family and always had a gentle, loving spirit. She was simple and elegant as a wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and sister. Despite her list of health problems, she was always cheerful, giving inspiration to others. Joyce was total love and a giver from every perspective. On June 28, 1969, she was united in marriage to Thomas E. Kimberly in Toledo, OH, who survives. Also surviving are their two children, Thomas Ryan Katie Kimberly of Byron Center and granddaughter Grace Elise Kimberly, and Lisa Ann Steve Christensen of Berkley and granddaughter Ella Joy Christensen; one brother, Ronald C. Kathy Walters of Maumee, OH; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Joyce will be at 11:00 AM on Friday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, with Pastor Rod Geiger officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Toledo, OH.
