Kalamazoo, MI Passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Rose Arbor, where she had been a resident for 6 weeks. Joyce was born November 15, 1925 in Three Rivers, the daughter of Luther and Willa Barton Warner and had lived in Kalamazoo for the past 60 years. She was employed by the Kalamazoo Public School System for over 12 years. Joyce was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kalamazoo and the John Dunning Guild, member of the Service Club of Kalamazoo now called the Junior League, the Kalamazoo Garden Club and for 15 years, was the owner and operator of Downstairs Limited, where unique and one of a kind Santa's were created. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert H. Kelser. Joyce is survived by her children, William Kelser of Kalamazoo and her daughter, Rebecca James Burton of Reading, PA; and three granddaughters, Emily Burton, Lindsley Burton and Molly Burton. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Rose Arbor Hospice Residence in care of Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
