Joyce Elaine Pettiford, January 6, 1937 - April 10, 2021
She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and lived the last 15 years in Suwanee, Georgia, where she went home to be with The Lord.

Joyce married William H. Pettiford Jr. and is survived by 5 children: Rosalind Brown, Andre Pettiford, Twila Cochran, Laurence Pettiford and Montel Pettiford.

Rosalind & Jestine Brown - Tanisha, Shanna, Jestine Jr. grandchildren with host of great grandchildren.

Andre & Tammy Pettiford - Kayla, Andre Jr., Theresa, Michelle, Sally, Tiffany grandchildren with host of great grandchildren.

Twila & Willie Miller - Twila & Zachary grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Laurence & Shelia Pettiford - Terrance & LaTavia grandchildren.

Montel & Cathy Pettiford - Nicole, Montel Jr., Bryan grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her best friend/sister is Aunt Alice Marie Bennett. Joyce loved The Lord Jesus Christ all of her life.

Eternally promoted to Heaven before Joyce were her parents Lawrence and Eloise Mitchell, her sister Geraldine and brother Robert with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. We would like to extend a special thanks to her daughter-in-law Shelia Pettiford for her self-less voluntary service over the last 15 years in providing loving, quality care for her mother-in-law.

A private graveside service will be held.
