Of Kalamazoo Passed away Tuesday evening, April 20, 2010. Josephine was born January 6, 1914 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Charles and Mina Averill Scheiern and had been a lifelong resident in the Kalamazoo area. She was employed with Eckrich Meats for 14 years and was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and auxiliary member of the VFW and Eagles. On June 6, 1936 she was united in marriage to Wilburn E. Ingram who preceded her in death in 1994. She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Barbara, Ruth, and Winifred. Surviving are her 2 children, John Lorraine Ingram, Dixie Dale Quarry, 5 grandchildren, Deborah, Darlene, Dan, Scott, and Cindy; 4 great-grandchildren, James, Patrick, Tyler, and Jack; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:30PM Friday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 939 Lake St., with Fr. Anthony Bitchapogu, Celebrant. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
