Galesburg, MI Died Thursday July 25, 2013 at his residence. Joe was born January 2, 1955 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of John "Buck" and Betty York Weaver. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the Musashi Corporation in Battle Creek. Joe was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, John Weaver. He is survived by his longtime companion, Janet Yingling of Galesburg; 5 children, Joseph Sunny Weaver, Brady Weaver, Chelsea Darin James Weaver, and John "Jack" Weaver all of Galesburg, and Jessica Yingling of Battle Creek; many grandchildren; a great-grandchild; his mother, Betty Weaver of Kalamazoo; 2 sisters, Barb Tazelaar and Teresa Weaver both of Kalamazoo; 2 brothers, James Mary Weaver of Kalamazoo and Jack Sue Weaver of Indiana; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be 1-5pm Thursday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek St. Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Cheff Center.
