Kalamazoo Passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011. Terry was born March 8, 1954 in Kalamazoo, the son of James and Lois M. Scott Vickery. He retired from Kalamazoo Stamping and Die after 15 years and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, shooting pool, dancing, playing the guitar and singing. Terry is survived by his children, Kristen Gary Deckard of Hartford, Beth Justin Kyles of Hartford and Shaun Phillips of South Lyon; grandchildren, Taylor, Jaydin, Meghan, Nevaeh, Rylee, Aaliyah, Jazlyn and Kennedy; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and his beloved dog, "MA"; brothers, Wayne Vickery, Bobby Vickery; sisters, Elaine Larry Allen and Jean Dave Bielski. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Don Vickery and a grandfather, "Scott Daddy". The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel 3926 S. 9th St. on Friday, beginning at 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for final expenses.
