LIVINGSTON, Mr. Joseph C. "Joe"
Richland, MI Died Wednesday morning March 9, 2011 at his residence. Joe was born August 21, 1942 in Newberry, Michigan a son of Walter and Geneva Garrod Livingston. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with Checker Motors for 20 years before retiring. Years ago, Joe worked at the Eaton Corporation. He was also a member of the Newberry American Legion. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; 2 daughters, Pamela in 1967 and Lori in 2009; 2 brothers, Robert and Buck; and a sister, Jane. On March 23, 1963, he was united in marriage to Nancy L. Baker Livingston who survives. Also surviving, a son, Joseph C. Livingston, Jr. of Portage; 2 grandchildren, Lisa Pennington and Damion Johnston both of Richland; 2 brothers, Bill Irene Livingston of Pennsylvania and Richard Peg Livingston of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1 o'clock Tuesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
