Joseph E. Lee

LEE, Joseph E. Kalamazoo Joe passed away Thursday afternoon, February 8, 2007 at Borgess Medical Center. He was born May 21, 1975, the son of Terry and Barbara Jako Lee. Surviving are his son, Alex Lee; his father, Terry L. Lee of Portage; his mother, Barbara Lee of Portage; 1 brother, Jeremy Miranda Lee of Portage; 1 sister, Michelle Lee of Galesburg; grandfather, Edward Lee of Mattawan; grandmother, Betty Jako of Florida; 3 aunts; Patti Jako of Florida, Cathy Dan Kiewiet of Kalamazoo, and Kathy Gettys of Mattawan; 2 uncles, Tom Sandy Lee of Mattawan and Bob Lee of Kalamazoo; and several cousins. Preceding him in death are his grandmother, Wanda Lee; and his grandfather, Joseph Jako. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue, with Rev. Chad Wells of First Baptist Church of Portage officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
