ELDRIDGE, Jonathon W.
Of Portage Jonathon died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 25, 2011, at his home. He was born August 5, 1983, in Ypsilanti, MI, a son of James B. and Nancy R. Sweet Eldridge. Jonathon graduated from Portage Central High School, attended some classes at WMU and had been a customer service specialist for AT&T. Jonathon was preceded in death by: his brother, Jeffrey Eldridge; maternal grandparents, Oma & Opa Sweet; paternal grandmother, Elaine Eldridge; an aunt, Bonnie Eldridge and an uncle, Chuck Eldridge. Surviving are: mother and step-father, Nancy and John Adams of Portage; father, James B. Eldridge of Plymouth, brother James M. Eldridge and his special friend, Stephanie Holinski, of Plymouth; paternal grandfather, C. Buehl Eldridge of Troy; aunts and uncles, Carole & Richard Halmekangas, Tom & Betsy Sweet, Jim & Joyce Sweet and Bill Eldridge; a special nephew, Aden Eldridge and Aden's mother, Monique Junkunc; many cousins; many step-brothers and -sisters; and numerous friends. Visitation will be held from 2-8pm Friday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel 411 E. Centre Ave., where services will be held at 11:00 Saturday morning. Cremation will follow services. Memorials should be made to James M. Eldridge for an educational fund for Jonathon's nephew, Aden.
