Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away suddenly on April 15, 2008. Jon was born September 28, 1967 in Lansing, MI, the son of Norman and Karen Thompson Woodin and had lived in Kalamazoo for most of his life. Surviving are his father Norman Woodin and wife Jan Lewis of Kalamazoo; his mother Karen Woodin and husband John Kappenga of Kalamazoo; a brother Joe Woodin and wife Sara Kennedy of Kalamazoo and their children Paul and Hunter Woodin; his friend, Amy Cooper and her son Emerson; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may meet the family on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 5. 9th St. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 4:00 pm at the Westside Chapel with the Rev. Jim Dyke officiating. Memorial contributions in Jon's memory may be made to Habitat for Humanity. www.langelands.com 343-1508
