John Michael Tafil, 93, of Kalamazoo, died at Borgess Hospital on Sunday, December 27, 2020. He was born May 18, 1927 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to the late John and Susan Tafil.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret "Midge" Tafil; son, John Tafil; and granddaughter, Amy Manues.
He is survived by his children, Jeanie (Dave) Allen, Mary Rodgers, and Mike (Dawn) Tafil; grandchildren, Karen and Dean Allen, Anne (Jeremy) Sanderson, Rachel (Adam Girton) Tafil, Kenny (Kendall) Tafil, Kevin Tafil, Kaleb Tafil, Jeff Tafil, Kristie Tafil, Jennifer Tafil, Michael Tafil, Alex (Jeanette) Gonzalez, Bethany Tafil, and Amber Tafil.
Private services will be held for the family.
