John R. Havey

HAVEY, John R. Kalamazoo Passed away Saturday, October 14, 2006 in Kalamazoo. John was born May 11, 1946 in Cleveland, OH, the son of Robert and Helen Betz Havey, and had lived in the Kalamazoo area for many years. He had been employed by Northwest Airlines as a flight attendant for 32 years before retiring in 2006 and was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Havey in 2003. John is survived by his father, Robert Havey of Kalamazoo; his brother, Clifford Janet Havey of Holland; a nephew, Todd Melissa Havey of Ada; a niece, Jill Manny Fernandez of Seffner, FL; and a cousin, Carol David Harrill of Mayfield Heights, OH. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street with Rev. Jim Dyke officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Lung Association.
