John Anthony Beran

July 5, 1943 — October 24, 2024

John (Jack) Anthony Beran, 81, Schoolcraft, MI passed away October 24, 2024. He was born July 5, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA to John A. and Virginia A. (Didia) Beran.

John met Julie, the love of his life, before their Senior year in Rosedale High School. They were voted “Couple Most Likely to Stay Together” and they did for over 60 years.

He was a loving Husband, Father, and Pappy.

John retired from the Upjohn Company as a Multi-craft Supervisor. He and his wife were able to enjoy many years of retirement. They loved going to breakfast and taking road trips to many destinations (always with the oldies channel on the radio).

He was so proud of his children and grandkids. He faithfully attended every school function, sporting events, and concerts they participated in.

John had many hobbies and enjoyed antique collecting, Breweriana, bowling, Allis-Chalmers tractors and classic cars.

John was preceded in death by his loving wife Julie and his parents. He is survived by his daughters: Diana Beran, Kathy (Kevin) Richards, and Cindy Beran. His brother: Richard (Bonnie) Beran. Grandchildren: Emily (Cody) Marshall, Alysia Stozicki (Brian), Ethan (Isabela) Richards, and Nicholas Richards. Great-Grandchildren: Malia, Marcus, Chase, Adalyn, Paxton, and Eliot.

John is now an angel in heaven. We know he will still be with us and guide us in our lives. He has a special place in our hearts and will be greatly missed.

John will be laid to rest with his wife at the Schoolcraft Cemetery in a private family internment.
