Johanna Irene Schreuder

Johanna Irene Schreuder (Van Den Berg) died November 17, 2024, at the age of 89 at Rose Arbor. She was born on September 7, 1935, in Kalamazoo, daughter of the late John, Sr. and Elsie (Doorlag) Van Den Berg.

She married Herman Ray Schreuder on January 25, 1957. She enjoyed being with her family and StoryPoint of Portage friends, knitting, reading, and crossword puzzles. She was a former member of Trinity Reformed Church.

Johanna was preceded in death by husband, Herman; son, Steven; and siblings, Harriet Smith and Alice VanBeck.

She is survived by her daughter, Sally; grandson, Samuel (Callayn); great-granddaughter, Della Rae; daughter-in-law, Karen; sisters, Grace VanderWeele, Gertrude Scott, and Carol (John) Nord; brother, John Van Den Berg, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 1-4:00PM at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 411 E Centre Ave, Portage, MI 49002. Private interment will be in Portage Central Cemetery.
