Joe Anne Cavey

November 8, 1958 — May 30, 2019

Joe Anne Cavey, 60, went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2019. She was born November 8, 1958 to the late Kathleen Mary and Duane Leversee.

She enjoyed helping people as much as she could. She loved her family and friends and valued every day she got to spend with them, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She appreciated the beauty of our Earth—the animals, flowers, trees, and a warm summer breeze. Joe Anne was sick from a very young age—the only relief from her pain was the Lord.

She worked at several local businesses over the years while she was still able to work, including restaurants and factories in both Kalamazoo and Paw Paw. After becoming disabled, she did volunteer work for Kalamazoo Public Schools.

Joe Anne was preceded in death by her brother, Rick Leversee and sister-in-law Cookie Dailey.

She is survived daughters, Jennifer (Shawn) Klinger and Cathy Goldacker; grandchildren, Colby, Ethan, Lexie, Alyssa, Salvador, and Jose; sisters, Susan (James) Greer and Eileen (Mike) Hall; brother, Ernie Dailey; mother-in-law, Carol Goldacker; nieces, Christy Derthick and Samantha (Pete) Denton and their children; nephew, Will (Rachell) Betts; as well as several cousins.

Per Joe Anne's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.

"I am so proud of my girls and their children. I'll be watching over them all from Heaven. Let them learn to know the Lord and go to church, so that they know the Lord also. I will be waiting in Heaven with Grandma, and one day, they will be back with us there. I love you all with all my heart, including my sisters and brothers. And we will end up in Heaven together one day."
-   Love, Joe Anne.
