Jessie V. Graham

GRAHAM, Mrs. Jessie V. Schoolcraft, MI Passed away peacefully Tuesday evening November 14, 2006 at Borgess Nursing Home with her family at her side. Jessie was born May 3, 1926 in Middlesboro, Kentucky the daughter of Nelson and Reecie Chadwell Cunningham. On September 24, 1951, she was united in marriage to Ralph Graham who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were 3 brothers, Jack, Dewey, and Fred Cunningham; 2 sisters, Willie Fortner and Phyllis Snodgrass. She is survived by a brother, Raymond Wanda Cunningham; a daughter, Brenda Jeff Reeves; grandchildren, Rodney Lora Elwell, Tony Anne Elwell, Matt Elwell, and Jessica Reeves; and several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. Jessie attended Amazing Grace Baptist Fellowship Church and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling and going out to dinner and taking life one day at a time. She has joined her savior, Jesus Christ the Lord and she can now enjoy her ?little corner of Heaven?. She will be remembered as a sweet, kind, caring, compassionate woman. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her and our lives will not be the same without her. Jessie had several close friends, Ted Thelma Everett of Vicksburg, and Fred Pat Oldham of Washington. They also will miss her dearly. Services will be held 1 o?clock Saturday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Borgess Nursing Home.
