Jerry Alan Mostoller of Kalamazoo, Michigan, died on July 14, 2023 at the age of 72. He was born on July 16, 1950, in Akron, Ohio.
Jerry was a graduate of Highland High School. Following his high school graduation, Jerry worked in construction and developed a passion for professional rodeo. He was a founding member of the Mid-State Rodeo Association (MSRA). During his rodeo career he won thirteen all-around titles in the MSRA.
In addition to his beloved companion Tammye Mackenzie, Jerry is survived by his children: Todd Mostoller (Christine), Amber Wrye (Heath), Ashley Mostoller (Gary Rumrill), Jacob Mostoller (Michelle); grandchildren: Margaret, Anna, Tessa, Peyton, Poppy, Wilder and Jerry; siblings Pat Gangle, Lanny Mostoller and David Mostoller and numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Margaret (Knoch) Mostoller.
Friends and family are welcome to share in a celebration of Jerry’s life on Aug 3rd between the hours of 1pm and 5pm at Mt. Zwingli UCC in Wadsworth, Ohio. An additional celebration will take place in Kalamazoo at Big Rock Community Church on August 5th between the hours of noon and 4pm.
