Kalamazoo, MI Jennifer Norville-Idemudia of Kalamazoo, MI. USA, at the young age of 39, answered her heavenly father's call on November 19th 2010. Born October 1st , 1971, in St. Peter, Barbados, West Indies, to Sonia Norville deceased and Shurland Greaves. From birth, Jennifer was a gift, accepted by her surrogate parents, Valrita Boyce and Carleen Castro. She was the sister of Dereck Norville, niece of Gweneth Thomas, Andora Greaves and many others. Grand-daughter of Gladys Lewis and shared a sisterhood with Joel, Tricia, Ichia, Keshia, Carolena and many other cousins. Jennifer attended St. John Baptist School and Ellerslie Secondary in Barbados where she found her love of; and excelled in track and field. Long time resident of Brooklyn, N.Y. Jennifer worked for 12 years in the Wall Street law office of Jay H. Tanenbaum, first as a receptionist, then worked her way up to Para- legal assistant. Jennifer had also started taking college classes at the Davenport University here in Kalamazoo. Jennifer truly lived her faith and had an unfailing love of God. She was an active member of the New York City Church of Christ, Brooklyn region; giving many devoted years of selfless service and discipleship. She married the love of her life Efeosa Idemudia on April 10th 1999. Together they moved their family to Kalamazoo in 2006, where they continued to fellowship at the Grand Rapids Church of Christ. Her life will be cherished and celebrated by her husband Efeosa, Her sons Kyle L Norville, Osazuwa, Etinosa and her precious daughter Omosefe. Jennifer was a loving and devoted wife, mother and friend. Her gentle soul, ready smile and phenomenal spirit will always be in the hearts of all her family and many friends. Jennifer left behind a rich legacy of optimism, perseverance, strength and many lessons on how to live. Jennifer Norville-Idemudia cherished forever in all of our hearts. Services will be held 3:00 Saturday afternoon, December 4, 2010, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm for visitation.
