Jennie C. Rabb

RABB, Jennie C.
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away September 25, 2012 at the age of 93. She was born January 22, 1919 in Kalamazoo to the late Kemp and Jennie DeLeeuw Terpstra. She was united in marriage to Henry Cramer on March 26, 1937 and to Raymond Rabb on October 4, 1975, both have preceded her in death. Jennie was a member of the Bethel Reformed Church, where she sang in the choir and had previously served as a Deacon. She had worked outside the home, but her greatest talent was in the kitchen with her baking and cooking. Surviving Jennie are her children, Elaine Kaminga, Phyllis Vos, Sharon Overway, Marcia Ackerman and Janet Glidden; 17 grandchildren; 45 great & great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding Jennie in death, were a son, Donald Cramer; brothers, John and Mike Terpstra; sisters, Johanna Kokmyer, Dena Losey, Jeanette Westveer, Katie Boven and Dorothy Vaughan; grandchildren, Matthew Cramer and Danielle Ackerman; and a great grandson, Joshua Kaminga. Family will greet friends on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. A funeral service will take place Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 3:00 o'clock at Bethel Reformed Church, 1003 Gayle Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49001, Rev. David Armstrong officiating. A private burial will take place at Comstock Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Care of SW Michigan or to the American Cancer Society.
