Jeffrey Scott Woodhouse

Age 67, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024. Jeff was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on October 11, 1956, the son of the late Richard and Norine L. (Grace) Woodhouse. 

Jeff owned and operated his own construction business for many years, Woodhouse Construction, and specialized in roofing, siding and gutters. He also worked as a subcontractor for numerous construction companies. Jeff was a very talented tradesman and took pride in his work. He loved antique cars and enjoyed racing at local speedways. Jeff had a great personality and the ability to interact with anyone. He was a faithful partner to his wife, RoseMary, and dutifully attended mass every Sunday and prayed with her. Jeff also loved his cat companions that he had over the years. 

On June 8, 1984, he married RoseMary (Woods) Woodhouse, who survives. Jeff is also survived by his step-children, Tamara Vincent, Sean (Claudia Gordon) MacKenzie and Anne Marie (Michael) Bielski; grandchildren, John Vincent, Tiffany (Dustin) Spencer, Xavier and Hendrix MacKenzie and Kalvin, Kristian and Kloe Bielski; several great-grandchildren and brothers, Robert, Rick and Rod Woodhouse. Besides his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his sister, Martine Walker. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Augustine Cathedral, 542 West Michigan Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49007, with The Very Rev. Robert Creagan as celebrant. Visitation will take place at the cathedral, one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park – South. Memorial contributions may be made to Centrica Care Navigators Hospice or Milestone Senior Services.
