Bloomingdale Passed away March 29, 2013. Jeff was born July 3, 1953 in Kalamazoo, MI the son of Kenneth D. Williams and Joan Hoffman and was a lifelong resident of the Kalamazoo area. He was employed by several paper companies, including Allied Paper, James River and the Parchment plant of Georgia-Pacific. He was a man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, was an avid outdoorsman and was always joking with his friends. On December 11, 1999, he married Barbara Musselman Pallett, of Kalamazoo, who survives. Jeffery is also survived by his daughter, Meghan Matthew Grossman of Vestaburg, MI; step-children, Brandon S. Pallett of Allegan and Cameron S. Pallett of Kalamazoo; brothers, Tom Chris Williams of Scotts and David Robbin Williams of Alamo; his mother, Joan Hoffman of Portage; a nephew, Michael "Mike" Williams of Grand Rapids; many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ken, and his step-father, John Hoffman. A Memorial Gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave., from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association in his memory.
