SCOTT, Jeffery L. "Jeff"
of Elkhart, Indiana Passed away Monday, March 31, 2008 at his home. Jeff was born September 28, 1948 in Kalamazoo, MI, to the late Eugene and Mildred Ash Scott. He was united in marriage to Linda Gilbert in November of 1968, who survives. Jeff loved his family and friends above all else. He also loved his music very much. He was a member of the John W. Moore Masonic Lodge #42, Niles, MI. Also surviving Jeff are his children, Lisa Scott of Cassopolis, MI, and Eugene Scott of Elkhart, IN; grandchildren, Malik, Jamal and Wyatt; nieces, Kim Derek Jennings, Karla Campbell and Leslie Scott; nephew, Billie Scott; sister, Vera Prince; brothers, William Kathryn Scott and Jay Scott; close family friends, Vicky Cockerham and Rodney Lee. Preceding him in death was his brother, Dewey Scott. Services will be held 12:00 o'clock Friday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. with the Rev. Bryant Bacon, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo.
