Bloomingdale Jeff passed away suddenly, Sunday afternoon, January 20, 2008 at Borgess Medical Center. He was born January 26, 1960 in Vicksburg, the youngest of three children to Roy and Ruth Hutchings Felty. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Grass Lake Sportsman Club. Surviving are three children, Troy Amy Vincent of Portage, Felisha fiancé, Zach Gleeson Crockett of St. Johns, and Chelsea Felty of La Fontaine, IN; one granddaughter, Madison Vincent; mother, Ruth Pat Patterson of Yuma, AZ; two brothers, Terry Felty, and Kim Sue Felty of Greenville; several cousins, nieces, and nephews; and his best friend and companion, Foxy. Preceding him in death are his father, Roy Felty; and one nephew, Parker Harrington. Funeral services for Jeff will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street, with Pastor Pat Clarey officiating. Interment will follow in Comstock Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
