Of Kalamazoo Jeannine passed away Friday afternoon, April 15, 2011 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. She was born October 28, 1929 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of George and Clara Hoskin Nidy. Jeannine was a 1947 graduate of Three Rivers High School and was employed by Kalamazoo Public Schools for many years until her retirement. Preceding her in death were her husband, Harry Hedges in 2001 and her parents. Surviving are her daughter, Ann Harris of Lawton; granddaughter, Rashonda Harris of Lawton; brother, Eldon Dorothy Nidy of Schoolcraft; niece, Teresa Ken Germain of Schoolcraft; nephew, Rick Elaine Winistorfer of California. Honoring Jeannine?s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A memorial services is being planned for a later date.
