Jeanne F. Weaver

WEAVER, JEANNE F. Jeanne Frances Weaver, AKA "Boom", age 71, passed away at her home on June 28, 2013. Jeanne was born May 9, 1942, in Compton, CA, the daughter of Fred and Frances Brown Edgerly and was a longtime Kalamazoo area resident. She worked for First National Bank/First of America/PNC as a benefits coordinator for 39 years prior to her retirement. On December 20, 1969, she was united in marriage to Basil Weaver, Jr., who preceded her in death on March 17, 1988. Surviving are her sister, Susan Marshall Billiam; half-sister, Ellie John Newton; nephew Fred Perry and family; step-daughter, Julie Bonnette, step-son, Matthew Ingrid Weaver; step-grandchildren, Samuel Bonnette, Olivia and Madeline Weaver; faithful friends, Sue Bob Hardy and Maggie Dan Noteboom; special friends, Julie Collins and Chris Collins; special cousins, Donna Zabavski and Robin Ferenc; and many other cousins and friends. In accordance with Jeanne's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate Jeanne's life will be held 3:00 PM Monday, July 8th at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Memorials in Jeanne's memory may be directed to West Michigan Cancer Center or the American Heart Association.
