Passed away on Monday afternoon March 7, 2011 at Kairos Dwelling. Jean was born March 20, 1936 in Allegan, MI, a daughter of Lewis and Ida Hall Ward and had lived in the Comstock area for most of her life. She was employed as a Psychiatric Nurse?s Assistant, most recently at the VA Hospital in Battle Creek until her retirement in 1997. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Otho in 1997, by a son Terry Honicutt ; a grandson Jeff Springer; her parents Lewis and Ida Ward; an infant brother Richard Ward and 3 other siblings, Robert, Donald and Darwin Ward. Surviving are 5 children, Linda Otis Springer of Florida, Crystal Leonard of Comstock, James Leslie Honicutt of Kalamazoo, Allan Sharon Honicutt and Roger Gregg, all of Comstock; many grandchildren and their children; a daughter-in-law Pam Honicutt Steuben of Gobles; a sister Brenda Anglemyer and a brother James Charlotte Ward, all of Three Rivers; several nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family 12-1pm Thursday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway which will be followed by graveside services at Comstock Cemetery at 1 o?clock with Pastor Lane Davis officiating.
