Kalamazoo, MI Age 57, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014. She was born on March 2, 1957 in Three Rivers, MI to John J. Zaleski, Sr. and Louise Zaleski. She was a
nurse for 30 years. She had many loving friends and family. She is survived by her only child, Brandon Straubel; her foster mother, Velda Hooley; brothers and sisters, John Zaleski, Jim Zaleski, Julie Zaleski, Don Hooley, Ron Hooley, Norma Otto and Janet Kinzer. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jeff Zaleski and foster father, Lee Hooley. A memorial service will be held 1 o'clock Friday, April 18th from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the West Michigan Cancer Center.
