Janice Kay Bradley

December 12, 1953 — March 31, 2020

Bradley, Janice "Jan" Kay
12-12-1953 to 3-31-2020

Jan passed at away at home after a very short but courageous battle with Glioblastoma Brain cancer. She is now healed and free in her Heavenly Home. She was born and raised in Kalamazoo, graduated from Kalamazoo Central in 1972. Jan was going to celebrate her 30th wedding anniversary in October this year to her loving husband Scott Bradley. She was a supervisor at ProCo Sound for over 30 years then a short period at Bowers Manufacturing before retirement in 2016. She was an active member of the Kalamazoo Eagles 526 Auxiliary and was a part of many events.

Jan was a fun loving, kind-hearted soul who saw the good in people and was always willing to help those in need. She loved to go shopping, enjoyed spending her time outside and had a love for traveling when she could. She also had a great love for animals, especially the strays and abused. She enjoyed feeding all the wildlife that gathered in her backyard as well.

Jan will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, loving family member, a good neighbor and friend to many. She had a strong work ethic and generous spirit.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Binegar in 1993. She is survived by her husband, Scott Bradley, son Christopher and daughter Brittany, her mother Joann Binegar, Brother Jay (Cindi) Binegar, sister Julie (Charlie) Taplin. Four grandchildren (Romeo, Desmond, Jabrien, Javani), several nieces, nephews, cousins and her two fur babies Molly and Maggie.

Per Jan's wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no service. A family celebration of life will be held this summer. Remember Jan with an act of kindness. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to a local animal shelter.
