of Schoolcraft Passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, March 9, 2010. She was born in Victoria, Texas, 1943 the beautiful daughter of Arthur Linn and Lorraine Greathouse. Janet was a dedicated nurse for over 38 years. On October 23, 1980, she was married to Kenneth Paul Parsons, of Schoolcraft. Janet was interested in Native American culture and nature. She is survived by her mother, father and brother, Carl Linn, as well as her four children, Laura, Ken, Paul and Lisa; 3 grandchildren, T.J., Matthew and Andrew. Preceding her in death was her loving husband Kenneth, who passed in 2003. Visitation for Janet will be held at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave, Friday, March 12th, 2010 from 6-8:00pm., where funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 13th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations will be greatly appreciated for either Janet and Kenneth's headstone or the American Indian Relief Council.
