LAZARUS, JANET SUE
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Janet Sue Lazarus, age 75, passed away April 25, 2012 at her home in Kalamazoo. Janet was born April 8, 1937, in Ithaca, Michigan, the daughter of Rex and Blanch Antes Coleman. She was a longtime Kalamazoo area resident and was employed for 12 years with First of America Bank. On January 9, 1960, Janet was united in marriage to Jack L. Lazarus, who preceded her in death January 17, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and by siblings, Rex, Marilyn and Vonda. Surviving are her children, Stephen Deborah Lazarus, Jacklyn Patrick Wilson and Frank Cindy Caswell, Jr.; step-son, Phil Patty Lazarus; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Edith Phillips and Carol Frank Caswell; nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 30 from 2-4 and 6-8pm and Tuesday from 2-3pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway, where a service to celebrate Janet's life will be held at 3:00pm Tuesday. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorials in Janet's memory may be directed to her family.
