Janet Albright

Janet Carole Munger Albright Jan was born on November 29, 1934 in Borgess Hospital, Kalamazoo, to Helen Schaschek and Robert Munger. Happily living in Kalamazoo all her life! Surviving are: Son: Todd Loyale Albright; Daughters: Julie Albright and Laurie Large; Sister: Sandra Jordan; Grandchildren-Lauren Albright, Joe Crouch and Daniel Large all of Kalamazoo. Several nieces and nephews: Steve Debbie Lewis; Jody Don Stermer, Jeff Julie Munger; Mark Marie Jordan; Debbie Todd Hill. Preceding her in death: Son: Jack Christopher Albright Feb. 2004; Granddaughter: Elizabeth Albright Sept. 2000; Brother: Phil Munger Feb. 2003; Parents: Robert Munger March, 1986 and Helen Roscoe Oct. 1975; Stepfather Dale Roscoe 2002. Jan was a proud 1952 Comstock High School Graduate. When her kids were young, she enjoyed taking care of them and camping. From 1985-2003, she worked at the Kalamazoo County Health Department Lab. In her retirement, she enjoyed cooking, reading, and watching birds out her living room window. She loved making special treats and talking with her neighbors and best friends of more than 50 years -- Jack and Mary Lou Hunt. She also enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and grand-dogs: Serenity, Sapphire, & Sammy James Jr. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 20 at 12:00 noon at Langeland Family Funeral Home, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway. The service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Comstock. Memorial Contributions may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
