Jane E. Jack

JACK, Jane E. Portage, MI Passed away April 2, 2007, at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Jane was born March 5, 1934 a daughter of Azel McDowell and Harriet Mitchell. Jane was a loving Christian mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending her summer days at Sandy Pines where she and her husband, William Jack, have been members. She was often found riding the golf cart at Sandy Pines stopping to visit with her friends. Jane was also a member of the Women's Chapter Moose Lodge #88 Kalamazoo/Portage. Jane loved playing bingo, card games, and also enjoyed knitting. She had a giving heart and will be deeply missed and treasured by her friends and family. Jane was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John McDowell. Surviving are: her husband of 51 years, William Jack; 4 sons, William Michael Jack and his fiancée Wendi Taplin of Parchment, Tracy Lee and Sandy Jack of Paw Paw, Joseph Allen Jack of Kincheloe and Thomas Jay Jack of Portage; 10 grandchildren, Ben, Christi, Noah, Kylie, Rebecca, Billy, Rob, Kevin, Linda and Amy; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Sandy Pines at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Jane's remembrance.
