of Kalamazoo, Michigan Jim was born December 20, 1975 in Coldwater, MI and passed from this earth into God's Heaven on Sunday, March 17, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Dawn; his parents, Pat & Bob Terwilliger and Bill & Jodee Shaw; his siblings; his son, Christopher; and his two canine "children" - Simon and McCarty. Jim's life with spina bifida was never easy, but he touched the lives of thousands and was an inspiration to all. A Memorial Service to celebrate Jim's life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 23, at Bethany Reformed Church, 1833 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo. The church is wheelchair accessible from the parking lot behind the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be directed to the ASPCA, P.O. Box 19922, Kalamazoo, MI 49019, or the charity of your choice. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
