JOSLIN, James E.
of Comstock Passed away January 10, 2008 at the Borgess Nursing Home, Kalamazoo. Jim was born September 28, 1920 in Harlan, Michigan to the late Peter and Ezelda March Joslin. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII until honorably discharged in February of 1946. On August 2, 1974, Jim was united in marriage to Doris Coffman, who survives. He loved to argue and, even when he was wrong, he was right. Jim was an award winning fisherman who also enjoyed hunting. Surviving Jim are his children, Donna Bill Tellam of O'Fallon, MO, Katherine Tom Bailey Joslin of Kalamazoo, James Patricia Joslin of Plainwell, Wanda Schaap of Kalamazoo, Robert Barbara Coffman of Kalamazoo and Judy Clarence Leonard of Kalamazoo; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Preceding him in death was his wife, Sally Joslin, in 1973; and son, Fred Edwin Joslin. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 13th, from 6-8:00PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo. A graveside service will take place at the Comstock Cemetery on Monday, 10:00 o'clock. Memorial donations may be directed to the Kalamazoo Nature Center. www.langelands.com 343-1508
