James L. Horner, 88, passed away August 25, 2019. He was born February 16, 1931 in Bemidji, Minnesota to the late George A. and Lilian (McManus) Horner.
James enlisted in the Army at age 17, serving in Japan and Korea. He fought in the Battle of Chosin Reservoir and was one of 25 in his company to survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George Horner and Kenneth M. Horner; and sisters, Elain M. Riley and Patricia Timmons.
He is survived by a brother, Dave Dekam, as well as several nieces and nephews.
