HOLCOMB, James "Jimmy"
of Climax, MI Passed away June 22, 2009 at his home. He was born February 10, 1937 in Kalamazoo, to the late Wayne and Audrey Fenwick Holcomb. Jim was a football player who also enjoyed doing yard work, playing cards, hunting, fishing, roller skating and dancing at clubs in Leonidas. He also enjoyed country-western music as well as classic rock from the 50's and 60's. Jim retired from Land-O-Lakes Feed Mill in 1999. Surviving Jim are; his son, Dorian Kathy Holcomb; brother, Kenneth Beverly Holcomb; sister, Kaye Cousins; Barbara Holcomb, the mother of his children; and extended family in Alaway, NJ. Also preceding him in death was a son, Gordon Holcomb in 1988. A family gathering will take Place at the Climax United Methodist Church on Thursday, 11:00am. Arrangements are by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Climax Chapel, 205 East Maple. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
