Jacqueline Fay (Carlson) Croy

October 18, 1942 — August 28, 2020

Went to be with her Lord Friday morning, August 28, 2020. Jackie was born October 18, 1942 in Duluth, MN the daughter of the late John and Lillian (Karjala) Carlson. Jackie worked for several years with the Upjohn Company and retired after 22 years working with Consumers Energy as an Administrative Assistant. She was an active member of Heritage Christian Reformed Church. Jackie enjoyed reading, traveling, camping, biking, and spending the last 14 years in Texas during the winter months with her loving husband Roger. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. On September 15, 1962 she was united in marriage to Roger Croy, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Timothy Croy, Tonya (Thomas Farshid) Jazayeri, Tina (Charles) Combs; 6 grandchildren, Erika Smith, Heather (Sam) Jaquette, Katie (Koty) Hatten, Megan (Chad) Tucker, Molly (Chad) Westmaas, Morgan Combs; great grandchildren, Soffia, Brantley, Paislee, Maxwell, and Amelia; a sister, Betty Craven; and several nieces and nephews. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Carol Carr. Friends may meet the family from 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday September 1, and Wednesday September 2 from 10:00-11:00am prior to the service at Heritage Christian Reformed Church, 2857 South 11th Street. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery in Texas Township. Memorials may be directed to Heritage Christian Reformed Church or Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
