Of Kalamazoo Jacob Lars walked Friday November 18, 2011. Jake was born October 11, 1985 in Kalamazoo, the son of Preston L. and Diane L. Segerdahl Parish. He is survived by his mother, Diane L. Parish; father, Preston L. Bess Parish; grandparents, Preston S. Barbara Parish, Kenneth Segerdahl; brother and sisters, Preston E. Parish, Laura D. Parish, Corinna S. Parish; his ultimate dynamic partner, Amanda Fritsch; aunts and uncles, Neil Carol Segerdahl, Bruce Segerdahl, Barbie Parish and Gary Roberts, Katie Miller, Will Julie Parish, Dave Kate Parish; and 14 much loved cousins. A service to celebrate Jake's life will be held at 3:00 o'clock Wednesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Friends may meet the family Tuesday from 6-8pm and one hour prior to the service at the chapel on Wednesday. Private interment will be held at a later date.
