Passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. Age 82. Jack was born in Scotts, MI on January 10, 1934, the son of the late Wayne and Florence (Piper) Harrison. He retired from the Kellogg Company after over forty years of service and also worked on his own farm. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joyce A. (Schneider) Harrison; two children, Paul (Sue) Harrison and Debbie (Tom) Ellinger; grandchildren, Jenny (Rich) Pawlawski, Christy Harrison, Erin Ellinger, Aimee Ellinger, Russell Ellinger and Aaron Dykstra; great-grandchildren, Tyler Pawlawski, Riley Pawlawski, Quinn Dykstra and Charlotte Dykstra; siblings, Mabel Lindsey, Bill Harrison and Irene Beebe. Jack was preceded in death by siblings, Maynard Harrison, Jess Harrison and Helen Oliver. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, July 8th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Climax Chapel, 205 East Maple St., Climax, MI 49034. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 9th, officiated by Pastor Roxanne French. Interment will follow in Harrison Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Diabetes Association.
