FRANCIS, Inez E.
of Portage, Michigan Passed away March 16, 2009 at home. She was born April 26, 1929 on the family farm in Mendon, MI, to the late Earl and Mable L. Crawford Kunselman. Inez was united in marriage on June 3, 1950 to Horace G. Francis, who predeceased her in 2005. She loved cooking, gardening, camping and hunting but most of all, she loved her family. Surviving Inez are her children, Donald Judi Francis of Bellevue, MI, Jeffrey Gail Francis of Chattanooga, TN and Timothy Lorraine Francis of Kalamazoo and Mendon; 8 grandchildren, Daniel Darci, Benjamin, Kristen Christopher Jones, and Christopher of TN., Brad Shannon, Ashley, Megan of MI., and Matthew of VA.; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death were sisters, Lucinda, Emma Ruth, Rose and; brother, Earl Kunselman. A visitation will be Thursday from 6-8:00pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave, Portage, where services will also take place, Friday at 1:00pm, Pastors Donald Francis and Chad Wells, officiating. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
