Kalamazoo Passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010, one day after her 96th birthday. She was born in Manistique, MI and taught in the Kalamazoo Public School system for 36 years. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leighton Saltzman in 1970. In June of 1975, she married Leonard Obermeyer, who survives. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family committal service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
