ROBERTSON, Mrs. Imogene J.
of Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday afternoon June 7, 2011 at her residence. Imogene was born February 22, 1922 in Cassopolis, Michigan a daughter of Vernel and Wilda Lawson Stewart. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 55 years and was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years before retiring. Imogene was also a member of the Cornerstone Pentecostal Church for over 30 years; and was longtime volunteer with Senior Service's Meals on Wheels. She was preceded in death by her parents. Imogene is survived by a daughter, Victoria J. Robertson of Boulder, CO; her former husband, Robert Robertson of Matteson, IL; and 2 cousins, Lorraine Jackson and Leon Stewart both of County Club Hills, IL. A private memorial service will be held at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. There will be no visitation. Private burial service will take place in Colorado at a later date.
